Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-22. This summary covers bytequix.com. Our complete, canonical Privacy Policy lives at app.bytequix.com/legal/privacy.

The short version

We collect very little. This marketing site uses cookies and Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and improve the site, and may use advertising trackers in the future. You can opt out at any time, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically.

For the complete disclosures (every cookie category, the trackers we name, your California rights, and how GPC and the opt-out work in detail), read the canonical Privacy Policy. This page is a plain-English summary; the canonical policy governs.

Who we are

ByteQuix is a managed-service builder of custom internal software for small businesses, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The legal entity operating bytequix.com is responsible for this site and the data it collects.

Contact for privacy questions: info@bytequix.com.

Cookies and tracking

We use a consent notice with these categories:

  • Strictly necessary (always on): security, load balancing, and the consent cookie itself.
  • Functional: remembered preferences and settings.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4, to understand how visitors use the site.
  • Advertising: cross-context advertising and remarketing (only if and when we enable it; named in the canonical policy when active).

We operate an opt-out model: analytics is on by default, with a clear notice and an easy way to opt out. You can change your choices any time with the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

Your California privacy rights — Do Not Sell or Share

If you are a California resident, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. On this site that turns off advertising and analytics trackers. Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser and we will apply the opt-out automatically.

What we collect directly

Booking is handled by our scheduler embedded from internal.bytequix.com; when you book a call you provide the details that scheduler asks for.

If you use the contact form on our Contact page, you provide your name, email, an optional company name, and your message. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and Resend to deliver the message to us by email. We use these details only to reply to you. We do not use them for tracking, profiling, or marketing, and the form sets no cookies.

Beyond that, analytics collects standard, aggregate usage data subject to your consent choices above.

Third-party services

  • Vercel hosts this site and provides cookieless Web Analytics (aggregate traffic, no cookies, not gated).
  • Google Analytics 4 provides consent-gated analytics (the analytics category above).
  • internal.bytequix.com serves the booking scheduler embedded on the Book page.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile provides spam protection on the contact form (a privacy-friendly check that sets no cookies).
  • Resend delivers contact-form messages to us by email.

Data residency

ByteQuix is a US company. Data we control is processed and stored in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we have on file, correct it, or delete it. Email info@bytequix.com and we will respond within 30 days. See the canonical Privacy Policy for the full description of your rights.

Changes to this policy

We update the date at the top of this page when this summary changes, and the canonical policy is versioned in its own source. The next material change will be disclosed here and in the canonical policy.
