Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-05. This policy applies to bytequix.com and to information collected through forms on this site.

The short version

Today, this website does not use tracking cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or visitor profiling. The only personal information we collect is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form. We use it to respond to you. That is the entire scope.

This is current as of 2026-05-05. We are planning to add visitor analytics and a cookie-consent banner later in 2026; this policy will be updated and dated when that happens.

Who we are

ByteQuix is a managed-service builder of custom internal software for small businesses, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The legal entity operating bytequix.com is responsible for this site and the data it collects.

Contact for privacy questions: info@bytequix.com.

What we collect

The contact form on this site collects only the fields you fill in: typically your name, email address, and the message you write. We do not run forms that ask for personal information beyond that.

We do not collect device fingerprints, browsing history across other sites, demographic profiles, or precise location information.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets one technical cookie, used by Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish real visitors from automated bots when the contact form is submitted. This cookie is functional and is exempt from prior consent under standard interpretations of GDPR and ePrivacy.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, heatmap or session-replay tools, or third-party visitor identification services on this site today.

How we use what you submit

When you submit the contact form, we use the information solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry, typically by email within one business day.
  • Schedule a discovery call if you have requested one.
  • Maintain a record of the conversation in case follow-up is needed.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add submitters to a marketing list without explicit opt-in. We do not retarget you with advertising.

Third-party services

To run the contact form, we use these services as data processors. They each have their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Vercel hosts this site and processes the contact-form submission server-side.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile provides bot protection for the form. It receives a request fingerprint, not your form contents.
  • Resend delivers the resulting email to our inbox.

Data residency

ByteQuix is a US company. All form-submission data is processed and stored in the United States.

Retention

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable archival period afterward (typically up to 3 years), in case you reach back out. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@bytequix.com.

Your rights

If you have submitted information through this site, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we have on file about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your records.

Email info@bytequix.com with the request. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We update the date at the top of this page when we change the policy. The next planned change is the addition of analytics and a cookie-consent banner later in 2026; when that lands, this page will be rewritten to disclose the new categories of data collected.
