About ByteQuix

We build custom software for real businesses, then run it for a flat monthly fee.

Pilot Fee
30 days live, scoped before we start, success metric agreed up front. The pilot delivers tangible value tied to that metric.
What we do

Managed custom software, in plain English.

We build custom internal tools for growing companies. Quoting tools, customer portals, billing automations, dispatch systems, dashboards. The kind of tool a 200-person company has a dev team for, but a smaller business has been doing in Excel.

We pilot the first tool in 1 to 3 weeks for a flat $800 fee. We run it live in your business for 30 days against a specific outcome we agree on before we start.

If the pilot delivers, we move you onto a flat monthly plan. $295, $595, or $895 depending on tier. Hosting, monitoring, maintenance, refinements, and small changes are included.

The $800 pilot is your only upfront commitment. No fine print, no retainer that bills whether or not we ship, and no long-term contract you sign before you have seen the tool work.

Who we serve

Real businesses with real operations.

Six tools. Three spreadsheets. One person who knows how it all fits together. The owner who wants to grow but cannot, because growth means more spreadsheets and more office-manager hours and more "we should automate this someday."

We are the people who build the someday tool. Then run it.

Manufacturing, distribution and wholesale, professional services, construction, transportation and logistics, consumer services, equipment rental. The pattern transfers.

Who we are not

What we are deliberately not.

01

Not a SaaS vendor.

We do not sell a configurable product that you bend your business around. Every Tool we deliver is custom-built for one specific workflow.

02

Not a dev shop.

We do not sell projects with a six-month timeline and a handoff at the end. We run the tools we build. Continuously.

03

Not selling AI strategy decks.

We use AI where it earns its place: internally to ship faster, and in client tools where features genuinely need it. The deliverable is working software, not a slide deck about what AI might do someday.

04

Not for companies with developers on staff.

If you have a software engineer on staff, you should be having them build for you. We exist for the businesses that do not have that option.

Project-based dev shops

How we are different.

A project-based dev shop
  • Builds, then walks away.
  • Maintenance is a separate retainer or a per-incident bill.
  • You pay twice: once for the build, again every time you need a change.
  • You own the code; you also own the breakage.
ByteQuix
  • Builds and runs.
  • The same monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring, maintenance, and small changes.
  • APIs change, integrations break, your business evolves. We keep it all working.
  • The flat monthly fee works because we run our own platform. Hosting and infrastructure are shared across clients. The Tools we build for you are yours alone.
How to start

A free 30-minute discovery call. Three answers.

No pitch, no pressure. We listen, ask questions, and tell you honestly whether we are a fit. Most calls end with one of three answers.

01

This is a fit, here is the pilot.

We send a scoped pilot the same week with a specific outcome metric, a price ($800), and a date.

02

This is a fit, but the timing is off.

Call us in six months, after the contract you are locked into ends, or after busy season clears, or whenever the constraint passes.

03

This is not a fit.

Often we recommend a competitor or an off-the-shelf product that would fit better and be more cost-effective for you. We would rather not work with the wrong client than try to make a wrong fit work.

Walk us through one process that is broken in your business. We will scope a pilot the same week or tell you we are not a fit.
