Tell us what is broken. We will tell you if we can fix it.
A free 30-minute call. No deck. No pitch. Mutual qualification. Most calls end with one of three answers.
- $0 No card, no commitment
- 30 min Listen, diagnose, decide
- 1 day Response time
- US-only All data housed in the US
30 minutes on your business, not on ours.
- 01First 10 minutes
You walk us through one process that is broken.
Where it starts, who touches it, where it gets stuck, what it costs in time or in money. We listen.
- 02Next 10 minutes
We ask the questions that determine fit.
Whether the problem is a candidate for custom software, for off-the-shelf SaaS, or for a process change first. Sometimes the right answer is "fix the process before adding software."
- 03Last 10 minutes
You get an honest answer.
One of three: it is a fit and we move to scoping the pilot; it is a fit but the timing is off; or it is not a fit and we point you to something better.
We close the call with one of these.
- Fit. We move to scoping.Sometimes the 30-minute discovery is enough to scope the pilot directly. Sometimes we book a one-hour scoping call to dig into the workflow first. Either way, you get a written pilot scope (outcome metric, $800 fee, and a date) before any work starts.
- Fit, but bad timing.Call us back when the constraint clears: busy season, a contract you are locked into, a tool you are about to renew.
- Not a fit.We will often recommend a competitor or a different category that fits better. We would rather not work with the wrong client.
Before you book.
Is the call really free?
Yes. We do not charge for discovery. The first time money changes hands is the $800 pilot, only if you decide to move forward.
What if I do not have a clearly defined process to talk about?
That is fine. Bring the symptom (slow billing, lost leads, "we cannot grow without hiring two more people") and we will help you find the underlying process during the call.
How fast can we scope a pilot after the call?
Sometimes inside the 30-minute discovery itself. More often we book a separate one-hour scoping call to walk the workflow in detail, talk to whoever owns it day-to-day, and lock in an outcome metric we can both commit to. Either path lands in the same place: a written scope with the $800 fee and a date before any work starts.
Do you sign NDAs?
For the discovery call itself, no. The conversation is exploratory and non-binding on both sides. If you become a pilot client, the pilot engagement includes confidentiality terms in writing.
Are you US-only?
For now, yes. ByteQuix is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We work with US-based businesses and house all client data in the United States.
